Graduation season was always a big deal at Skyrocket. During graduation season, we filmed many different graduations across California. In auditoriums, we would work with the sound and stage crew to set up our equipment in optimal places for everyone. Once they were recorded, we would edit them into videos for all the families to watch online for free.
The graduations would also feature video interview compilations with graduating students that we would film in advance (aka Student Reflections). These were very time consuming and difficult to organize. We would bring our c100 cameras and lights and interview the students. Many of them are nervous on camera, but give wonderful answers about their experiences in school.
During the pandemic, we continued doing this, but all graduations were held outdoors and at a distance to continue giving parents and students the memory of a lifetime.
